First Broken Bone

Boys will be boys.... and our little boy was playing hard with his older brother when he landed very hard on his arm.  This was on a Sunday afternoon and at that point we thought maybe he sprained his wrist. We decided to wait it out and see if and how he used his arm.  As the week went on he would play and use his arm, but if he put a lot of pressure on it, he would say "ow".  Last Friday morning we decided to give the nurse a call and she agreed that we should probably have it looked at.  Well after a visit with the doctor and some x-rays, we found out he actually broke the ulna bone in his arm. He is such a tough little boy and did so well at the doctor.  Since the break was nice and clean, the doctor said we could just splint his arm for 3 weeks.  He has already fallen on the arm a few times with the splint on, so we will see if he still might end up with a cast.

He sure is cute though......
