Getting in the Holiday Spirit

Last weekend was spent decorating the Oppewall home for the holidays. We took the much anticipated trip out to find the "perfect" tree, and since the boys and I had gone with my parents the day before, the "perfect" tree was found in record time (which very much delighted my hubby).

After finding the "perfect" tree, next comes the decorating of the "perfect" tree.... and I had some wonderful helpers :)

And after the lights, ribbon, beads, and ornaments are added you have the "perfect" tree in the Oppewall house fully decorated...

and lets not forget the "pretties" on the mantel....

Here is my excellent gift wrapping partner hard at work....

and here is mr. trouble (even though he is darn cute) who loves to try to take things off the "perfect" tree all decorated in the Oppewall house....
